About me

About me

Hey there! My name is Matt Witter and this page is dedicated all to ME!

The whole purpose of this website is to help me remember more of what I experience on my adventures in a country I know surprisingly little about. I have been told, and read many times, about all the ways that I am going to change after studying in a foreign country for a semester; this site is also going to be a way for me to see if and how I change over the course of this semester. I can’t wait to look back on these pages and see how my attitude, thoughts and views changed.

I also hope to spread my love of new experiences with anyone who cares to read the stuff I write here.

More about me: I am in my last year of college where I have been studying criminal justice and the Spanish language. A lot of people ask me if I can speak Spanish and I’m always quick to answer “Noooo wayyyy!” I am okay at reading the language and I can put together a mostly coherent and somewhat-intelligent sentence on paper, but when it comes to speaking and listening to the language… I’m out!

The only other thing about me is that I love the adventure of uncertainty. Trying new foods, attempting something I’ve never done, or encountering someone I have never seen before all make my heart beat and doing all these things unplanned make life that much spicier!
